Before becoming a photographer, I worked as a teacher and social worker—careers that sparked my passion for people, connection, and capturing genuine moments.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me curled up with a glass of red and a good book—or deep into a Harry Potter marathon.

Back in the 2000s, I was the queen of the pink Olympus digital camera—selfies, candids, you name it. Sneaking photos of my friends in their element quickly became a favourite hobby, so it’s no surprise photography now feels like second nature.

I love the South Island of New Zealand so much, my husband and I eloped there—complete with a helicopter ride to snowy mountaintops for the dreamiest wedding photos ever.
